    hi,
My name is David Sparks. I’m a front end developer in memphis TN. I was looking for Vote It Up help on stack overflow and ran accross your post. I’ve found a pretty severe lack of support for the vote it up plugin especially in ways to harness its ability and make it do what you want. my theme has been built of the starkers theme and is probably about 70% finished but i’m hung up this vote it up stuff.

I know this is a heafty request but i’m starting to run out of options with its lack of support online.

is there any way possible you could zip up the theme for your site so i can see what you did code wise to get the plugin to render correctly? i swear i wont be stealing any of your content or theme etc. im just hoping being able to see how to use the plugin will help me get it to do right on mine. i want to customize the appearance quite a bit and its just not doing what i want. any help would be appreciated. i’d be willing to get you a month or a couple of free banner advertising in exchange once its up or something.

kind of at the end of my rope and hoping somebody can help. thanks a ton!

    Regards,
    David Sparks

I am in the same boat as the above comment. Our site is looking to utilize the vote it up plugin and am looking for some similar functionality to what you have here. Our site is operational and in its current form is doing pretty well, I just think that this would help it grow but within the confines of both wordpress and my coding ability I can’t take it any further, but seeing as it is possible is promising. I am not neccesarily looking to have users contribute data. I would just like to include the functionality of voting on posts and then listing these posts ranked being able to show the most voted for particular time frame. In its bare bones form I am running into a problem with Voteitup. Styling the voting widgets has not been a problem, I am running into a problem when trying to display the voting data. In fact your exact layout of giving users the option to view within a particular timeframe is optimal for what we are trying to do, and it obviously took some coding on your part, because I cannot get the voting widget to display with even the correct data in its original form. If you would like to help, we need it. If not, if I looked for someone to do this for pay what is a reasonable price? ie.. How long did it take you to code that. Great job BTW.

    Hi,

I had sent you an email regarding advertising on your site. I presume you might had
overlooked it or deleted it by mistake so I am resending it. Below is the copy of the previous mail.

I work for a web hosting guide that helps people to find a good web hosting provider. I came across your website and I find it very relevant to my client’s site.

I would like to discuss the possibilities to advertise on your website. I am sure that we
can agree on a suitable compensation.

Let me know whether or not you are interested in such cooperation.

    Best regards,
    Joanna
